///////// Take a whiff of this! Mr. Paul will be calling Las Vegas home for the time being. I never understood residencies at clubs, they been a huge success in London but will they be in the states? With Americans always looking for the next best thing will have to find out.

Paul Oakenfold has confirmed his residency in Las Vegas will start in autumn.

He’ll be playing at the 25,000 square foot Rain Nightclub at the Palms Casino Resort, his first ever US residency.

The multi-level club includes six private sky boxes, seven private cabanas, eight ‘water booths’, VIP rooms, elevated dance floors and six bars.

“There is nowhere in America other than Las Vegas that I would want to be a resident DJ,” Oakenfold said. [MixMag]

Kleerup’s self titled album is splashing on to the scene but don’t be looking for any tidal waves. The name Kleerup might sound familiar if your a Robyn fan, Kleerup is the mind behind the track ‘Every With Heartbeat’. Although the collaboration with Robyn is only his second single, I must say nice job Kleerup!

As I listened to his new album I thought a dramatic tale of the Never Ending Story with some 80’s hair. If your looking for some depressing music Kleerup has it for you, but it’s produced so well that that the tracks make you tap your toe instead of laying in bed crying wishing the world to die. This album is a must on that dreadful Monday morning.

Sneaky Sound System have conquered the island we call Australia and now the UK has no chance of survival. Thier highly successful album is ready to be dropped July 21st in the UK, with the first single ‘Pictures’ out July 14th.

Can’t wait to hear the CD? You lucky folks going to Glastonbury Festival this Friday can catch Sneak Sound System live in the flesh.

I can’t wait for them to get sneaky over here in the states. I’m sure they put on a jumpin show.

The Chemical Brothers are set to drop a 2-disc best hits album on September 1st 2008. The first disc will include some of the best chem tracks over the years, plus on new tune ‘Keep My Composure’.

It would have been nice for a new album from the brothers but I guess a ‘best of’ will work.

Pop maestro Timbaland got married last night — to a woman — in Aruba. Timbland’s wife — again, a woman — is Monique Idlett, and the two apparently have a daughter together — from having man-and-woman-sex — who was born in November.

Monique and Tim reportedly were hitched ghetto-style while wearing sweatpants at the beginning of the month in Virginia, before having the swank ceremony last night in Aruba. [ChartRigger] [US]

This is the 200th post. Does it mean anything? I’m not sure.

My life is engulfed with music so I pour it out for someone to read. Thanks for the emails and props. It’s cool to know that people are actually reading this stuff. It’s even more awesome that I can connect to people that are on the same level as me (pretty close to the same level~).

I won’t blab on and on, but things are in the ‘works’ for me. Not sure where the blog will stand in the future, it could stop tomorrow or in three years. Who knows.
