Chemical Brothers / Midnight Madness / Gold Monster!?

Here it is folks! The Chemical Brothers new single to celebrate their new compilation 2-disc pack. The video is pretty crazy and the track is pretty average… Expecting something more harder and darker from the duo but instead I get fluffy bubbles with a gold monster break dancing.

Hercules And Love Affair / CRAP!!

Hercules And Love Affair

The biggest crap hype in 2008! Yup, finally someone has said the truth. What makes the album so special? If I was to pull out any of my grandma’s old vinyl I’d get exactly Hercules And Love Affair, maybe better music too.

I even forced myself to listen to the first single ‘Blind’ somewhat catchy but it still remains a only played twice track.

Bottom line, don’t give into the crap hype it will suck the coolness out of you!

Kid Sister / Debut Album / Ghetto Fab Funky

I remember surfing a friends OnDemand music channel and saw Kid Sister ‘Pro Nails’, boy was I hoping all over the place. I wasn’t as thrilled to see Kanye West but the video was pretty fresh with dancing fingers everywhere.

Good news is, her debut album is going into production much sooner then expected. Having canceled her appearance at the HARD festival in LA to get the project rolling even faster. The release date is marked for 9.23.08 labeled ‘Dream Date’ on Fool’s Gold.

Kleerup / Album / Dramatic 80’s?

Kleerup’s self titled album is splashing on to the scene but don’t be looking for any tidal waves. The name Kleerup might sound familiar if your a Robyn fan, Kleerup is the mind behind the track ‘Every With Heartbeat’. Although the collaboration with Robyn is only his second single, I must say nice job Kleerup!

As I listened to his new album I thought a dramatic tale of the Never Ending Story with some 80’s hair. If your looking for some depressing music Kleerup has it for you, but it’s produced so well that that the tracks make you tap your toe instead of laying in bed crying wishing the world to die. This album is a must on that dreadful Monday morning.
