Top 100 DJs of 2008 / Readers Choice Poll / Resident Advisor

The votes have been counted for RA’s Top 100 DJ poll and the results are mind boggling! Compared to the other top 100 DJ poll by DJmag.com the top ten DJs are are drilled down to a low spot of #65 in the RA’s poll. Take a look;

As you can see some numbers are black and white. These numbers all depend on a ton of factors like promotion and credibility. DJmag’s poll has been going down for years so of course it is a staple in the dance community. With that siad, DJ’s having been pouring more effort into swaying votes from fellow fans. RA’s poll is the sites first stab at a viewers choice poll, there user base is unknown and although they take on a global scale I’m sure being a fairly new site they are saturated in more places then others. Take a look at the results for yourself  at DJMag.com ResidentAdvisor.net

Grammy’s / Electronica / 2008 / Nominations

-M.I.A. for Record of the Year (”Paper Planes,” produced by Diplo).

////////That’s the least we can do since we banned and labeled her as a terrorist threat.

-Radiohead for Album of the Year (In Rainbows, co-produced by Air, Zero 7 and Gnarls Barkley collaborator Nigel Godrich).

///////// Maybe if I did lots of acid in the 90’s and were gothic I would like these guys but give me a break.
