////////  Sad news from Germany as their annual Love Parade turns into a frenzy.  It’s tragic to report grimly news on what should be a magical event, our condolences to all.

19 people have died and 340 more are injured in an avalanche that occurred over an alleged collective panic attack in the tunnel entrance to the macro party which celebrated the ‘Love Parade’ in Duisburg, western Germany.

The victims were nine women and six men, police said.

In addition, ten participants lost consciousness and had to be resuscitated by emergency services after the incident, explained police chief, Ralf Klauck. According to sources there were over 150 wounded. Rescue helicopters landed on a nearby highway to serve them
According to local TV station WDR to the party 1.4 million people attended. The main stage, a large open space previously used as a freight train station, had been limited by a metallic fence not to exceed half a million attendees.
Half an hour before the stampede, some attendees called the police warning that “the situation was unsustainable and will cause a tragedy,” said Fabio, one of the participants. “I was in the midst of people and pressure from outside, from those who wanted to enter, continuously increasing,” he said.

/////// It’s a sad day for dance music, as iPartyRadio.com, one of the best internet dance music radio stations, closes up shop.  iPartyRadio.com always played today top hits and remixes, always knowing what tune to play next to keep the groove going. Money woes took down this station but they plan on coming back some way some how. You will be missed.
