Daft Punk have signed to Sony-owned Columbia and will release their fourth album this spring.
The French dance duo, which consists of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, have left Virgin, with whom they signed in 1996.
The graphic you see pictured is that of the famous EDM graphic designer Aeriform who has claimed to release the graphic art for their new Album. Daft Punk’s production team in Los Angeles in also rumored to be having meetings with some of the most prominent visual artists.

Oscar-winning songwriter Paul Williams, who is apparently working with Daft Punk, claimed their album could be released as early as June. He was at a SXSW screening of his film new film ‘Paul Williams Still Alive’ and in a interview he confirmed: “I have written songs for Daft Punk. This material will appear on their new album, coming maybe June.”

Funk legend Nile Rodgers is hoping to bounce back from cancer with a new Daft Punk album. The superproducer and former Chic star is in talks to work with the European dance music duo on a new album. If the plan comes together, it will be Rodgers’ first assignment since successfully battling cancer last year (11). He says, “Those guys are great.
