Their myspace page says it all House / Crunk / Ghettotech and I could not describe it better myself. The Crookers, where do I start?, let’s start with the duo themselves BOT and Phra from Italy. Who inspires them? Chemical Brothers, Armand Van Helden and Blonde Do Role.These guys make Justice look like bedroom producers.
Their tracks and mixes are funky, full of bass, ghetto fabulous and straight out wicked. What I love most about the Crookers is just when your on the tip of getting bored they flip the track and your like SIIIICCCK! Too bad they are only coming to NY this year…
